We are excited to announce that plans are going ahead for the next church weekend from 17th to 19th April 2026 at a beautiful and conveniently located new venue: High Leigh Conference Centre, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.
The centre offers comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, meeting rooms and is situated in very attractive grounds. It will be a perfect space for us to gather to spend time in worship and fellowship, to relax and to strengthen relationships with one another. The extensive grounds and gardens means we will be able to organize fun outside activities for everyone to enjoy.
The rooms are all en-suite with double or single beds and family rooms are available. Many of the rooms are on the ground floor, as are all the meeting rooms, the dining room and lounges.
Costs and Payments:
Costs per person cover both days and include all accommodation (no single supplements), all meals (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner), plus Morning Coffee and biscuits, Afternoon Tea and Cake, WiFi and free parking. Also, Fairtrade tea, coffee and other hot drinks are available all day from the garden lounge.
- Adults: £250.
- Students 17+ In Full-time education: £125 (subsidised rate).
- Children aged 6 – 16: £76.
- Children aged 0 – 5: Free of charge.
To help with the cost we can set up a payment scheme so that payment can be made in installments, please let Carole know if you would like to do this.
A £50.00 deposit per person is required to secure your booking. Payments can be made to the church bank account :

Dietary Requirements:
It’s sometimes difficult for conference venues to cater for everyone with dietary requirements. However, High Leigh can provide dishes for vegetarians and vegans, as well as catering for guests with any of the 14 recognised allergens.*
* These requirements need to be discussed with the centre in advance. Please let us know on your booking form if you have special dietary needs.
