Dear Members and Friends,
Just a wee reminder that this coming Sunday we change our clocks as we Spring Forward to British Summer Time. Unfortunately for those who enjoy a lay-in this means getting up an hour earlier! Try not to be late for this important and very special Sunday..
Last Sunday, 19th March, we invited Rev. Gary Law to come and preach with a view to becoming the next permanent, full time minister of Woodside Community Church. Your Church Board has unanimously recommended him to us and so this Sunday, March 26th, there will be a formal ballot vote where the membership of Woodside will express, on behalf of the whole congregational community, its heart in relation to calling the Rev. Gary Law to be Pastor of this local church. The result of the ballot will be announced during the service.
Also this Sunday we will receive new members into the Church. Friends who have been with us who want to say hand on heart publicly, this church is my home, and I’m hanging my hat here, with this worshipping, witnessing, working, local church community. Please do join us to offer the warmest of welcomes to these dear friends.
Then of course we also are delighted to welcome our District Superintendent, Rev. Carl McCann who will be with us sharing the service and bringing God’s word to us. This really is a very special Sunday indeed.
